welcome

                                               A LITTLE ABOUT SADRIA

I started my long association & love of German shepherds in 1979 by purchasing my first pet from a local breeder.

After a couple of years I started showing the female & started to buy another couple of dogs with a little bit of success in the show ring. But as so often happens I craved a better level of dog & started to look  interstate from other breeders.

My search led me to Perth ( which I did a few times in latter years) I found a kennel by the name of Luftlag Kennels who were importing quite a few dogs at the time including the top import English Champion Barry Vom Status Quo (imp Ger)

I was able to purchase first dog Ch Keyways Kahleel a Perth Royal challenge winner & Sydney Royal BOB whom I sold to Mrs Val Szucs. After this I purchased Ch Luftlag My Shazam A winner of Best of Breed Sydney Royal & multi best in show whom did a lot of winning in the allbreeds ring & produced some lovely pups at the time.at this  time I had a lot of success with Ch Sadria Blazing Heart , Ch Sadria Danielle & Ch Sadria Masquerade the latter 2 by Karlrach Kentucky lad & speciality class winners as well as great success in the all breeds ring

Next was my favourite Ch Oldforest Cool Charm from Victoria . Her mother Ch Wyomba Pawnee Princess use to come up every year from Victoria & beat us on the circuit , so buying her daughter was a lucky break.

Charm was a stunning mover & hardly ever beaten in Breed winning Best of breed at the Sydney Royal including Best In Group as well as Best in Breed at Melbourne & Canberra Royals. I had many a battle with a very young Caryl Morris Of Freevale Kennels with Charm.

The next stage started when I met my wife Pattie & we went full on into the speciality ring with a few breaks with business comitments & raising our family. Many good quality dogs were to follow from firstly our good friends Sean & Leeanne Lynch of Freemont kennels with bitch,s that are behind there top quality dogs of today.

The next stage when we started showing again we purchased dogs from Seigen Kennels & our friend Mrs Christine Gallacher as she had purchased our former lovely bitch Fremont Yours truly who went on to produce a National winner & hence grand Dam to the beautifull Ch Seigen Ylang Ylang who had a stunning show record. We were able to lease Wei Wei from Chris for two years with much success before she returned to Perth to start her breeding life.We also brought across from WA  Seigen  Give It To Me AZ BSCL1  5th place Junior dog & 7th place Int dog at two Nationals & Harry is still with us at &7 years of age & looking good enough to still be in the ring but is now uncle to the young pups that come into our kennels with his wonderfull nature.

After this period we purchased Friedental So What( Sophie) whom was a great moving bitch who finished her show life with a great 7th place at the Newcastle national & with great sadness died of a sudden illness the next week which still ranks as the worst thing to happen to us in our years of showing

During this same period we purchased a pup from Tom Devine & little did we know this little pup with so much spirit & glamour now known as Conkasha Spring Mist AZ BSCL1  would start out with 2 X 1st place & then 7th place Minor at the Newcastle National in 2012. The next year she came out and won Intermediate bitch at the 2013 National in Adelaide.

To bring the story up to date "Tilly" has now welped a lovely litter of 8 pups to pepe Von Zenteiche imp Ger so hopefully the story of our show life will continue with a bit of success & fun

Conkasha Spring Mist  "Tilly"  pups have hit the show ring with a bang after a very slow start in the baby class they have got their act together in the minor class with many class wins & many high placings

The 2015 Melbourne National has come & gone with stunning success for our small kennel .

Sadria Storm Queen "Stella" has out done her mother  "just" in winning the Junior Bitch  in a very large class with our fantastic handler Jess Lynch & going one further in winning Reserve Challenge against the older girls putting in a stunning gaiting performance with Hazel from the UK handling her for the first time.

We are so greatfull to Jess Lynch for helping us win the Adelaide national with Tilley & then 2 years later handling her stunning Pepe  daughter Stella to win at this years National. Not many handlers acheive this with a mother & daughter .We also had the added bonus of another Tilley daughter Sadria Tilleys Pepper finishing in 8th place & she is also a multiple class winner in Victoria
